The Iowa Woo is the Cedar Valley’s hometown professional arena football team, bringing fast-paced action, nonstop energy, and unforgettable entertainment to fans across Eastern Iowa. As members of The Arena League, the Woo combine the excitement of indoor football with a bold personality inspired by the region’s wrestling heritage, community pride, and electric game-day atmosphere.

Founded in 2023, the team quickly became known for its fan-first culture, vibrant branding, and larger-than-life mascot, Wacky Woo Loo. From thrilling football games to community events and family-friendly experiences, the Iowa Woo delivers an atmosphere that’s equal parts sports, entertainment, and hometown pride.
