Trick or Treating
throughtout College Square Mall!
October 31, 2007
On Oct. 31, kids dressed from fairies to Harry Potter came through the mall doors to participate in the annual Halloween fun fest College Square Mall offers.
Twins, Kelly and Krystal Kagy pose for a photo in front of Claire's during their candy search on Halloween night. Kelly, left, went as Cleopatra and Krystal dressed as Hannah Montana.
Zach Harris went swimming for Halloween this year. He is pictured in his human aquarium costume. This is the second year in a row he and his family drove from Independence to Cedar Falls for the College Square Mall trick-or-treating event which took place on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
One for me one for you. Tradehome Shoes employee, Dustin Adams, wasn't shy about testing the candy for himself. Adams had a stack of candy wrappers after distributing candy for two hours at College Square. Equipped with a sucker in mouth he is seen here in footie pajamas. We didn't know footie pjs came in sizes that big!
Going the extra mile - Morgan Nodtvevt in the white Brett Favre uniform and Katy Huber in the Tinkerbell costume kneel on the floor just outside of Icings by Clarie's where they both work. The dedicated employees kept this position for the entire two hour Halloween event. Hundreds of children walked between the duo like trick-or-treaters Ashley Doyle, at left in pink, and Kaitlin Doyle. Ashley was dressed as Barbie Island Princess. Kaitlin was dressed as a ballerina.
Moms don't get to have all the fun. Alexis Folkerts gives personal service and walks the candy to other trick-or-treaters in her ballerina costume at Kay Jewelers shortly after she made her own rounds at College Square Mall. Alexis has an inside scoop on how this whole mall trick-or-treating thing works. Her mom, Tammy Folkerts, is the store manager of the College Square Kay Jewelers.
Thank you to the kids and parents
for participating in this event.
We hope to see everyone next Halloween!
